SMOKY MOUNTAIN TRANSPORTATION IS EASILY
ACCESSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE TOWNS
Transportation is easy to find throughout the Smoky Mountains. Along with taxi services, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer trolley service year 'round. Trolleys are accessible around the Parkway areas in both towns. The fare is a very nominal fee and will take you to Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, throughout downtown Gatlinburg and even out to the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. There are also tour companies that offer scenic tours of the Smoky Mountain area.

Gatlinburg has 20 trolleys that service approximately 50 miles in and around Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.
Gatlinburg's trolley system is the fifth largest mass transit system in the state of Tennessee. The trolley system was established in 1980 with a fleet of only six trolleys.

Safe and courteous drivers will pick you up at over 100 stops through the cities of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Just look for the bear, and the trolley will be there shortly.
Main Street trolleys run every 20 to 25 minutes. Wears Valley trolleys run every 40 to 45 minutes. Dollywood trolleys run every 15 to 20 minutes. Dollys’ Splash Country trolleys run every 15 to 20 minutes. Gatlinburg Welcome Center trolleys run every 25 to 30 minutes. These times may vary due to traffic flow during peak tourism days, car shows and holiday weekends.
Most trolleys are wheelchair lift equipped. Passengers in wheelchairs that cannot get to a trolley stop must make reservations for next day Paratransit Service by calling The Fun Time Trolley at 865-453-6444.
