Transportation

SMOKY MOUNTAIN TRANSPORTATION IS EASILY
ACCESSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE TOWNS

Transportation is easy to find throughout the Smoky Mountains. Along with taxi services, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer trolley service year 'round. Trolleys are accessible around the Parkway areas in both towns. The fare is a very nominal fee and will take you to Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, throughout downtown Gatlinburg and even out to the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. There are also tour companies that offer scenic tours of the Smoky Mountain area.

Gatlinburg Trolley
Gatlinburg has 20 trolleys that service approximately 50 miles in and around Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.

Gatlinburg's trolley system is the fifth largest mass transit system in the state of Tennessee. The trolley system was established in 1980 with a fleet of only six trolleys.
